Benchmarking is crucial in competitive market analysis. PSP uses state-of-the-art non-contact visual measurement equipment for detailed measurements of the competitor’s product. These measurements enable PSP’s engineering team to recreate the product with the SolidWorks CAD system. This solid model can then be used to produce parts for design replication, cost analysis and/or testing validation. We can measure most geometries without cutting the part, however more complicated shapes may require sectioning to precisely measure some dimensions.
